Colombia, Las Gaviotas

The Las Gaviotas project is a tribute to the heritage and hard work of women Colombian coffee pickers, known as Chapoleras. As they glide across the coffee farms, their graceful presence and elegant white outfits bring forth imagery of seagulls, or “Gaviotas” in Spanish which inspired the name of the project. The coffee is sourced from 40 women in Huila, all selected for their commitment to quality, and passion for their work.
