Nuevo Progreso, nestled in the remote Incahuasi Valley, is a young coffee parcel planted exclusively with the Gesha variety. Initially misidentified as SL-09, the plants’ true identity as Gesha was later confirmed, enhancing its uniqueness.
Lucio Luque Vasquez meticulously cultivates and processes this Gesha coffee, with cherries carefully hand-picked and washed to preserve their vibrant flavours. Tasting and lot separation occur at the cooperative’s warehouse in Andahuaylas, ensuring exceptional quality control.
