Named after Ascapart, a legendary giant from the local folk tale of Sir Bevois Of Hampton. The dedicated and skilled loyal squire of Sir Bevois, often misunderstood but always playing an integral role in Bevois' adventures.

We have an affinity with Ascapart, with a storied history and a giant dedication to creating the most delicious beer and coffee we can. Maybe we'll become our own tale one day or maybe just help people enjoy their journey, either way we're here for the adventures.

Born from the Southampton based Mettricks indie cafe-bar group in 2024, we're based in their Portswood site, serving the freshest beer and coffee to their customers.
