Kenya, Chebaibai
Blackcurrant • Rum & Raisin
Some coffees make you stop after the first sip. This is one of them.
Grown in the lush hills of Chebaibai, Nandi Hills, this exceptional Kenyan lot has been fermented for 96 hours in an oxygen-free environment before being dried as a natural process. The extended anaerobic fermentation amplifies the coffee's sweetness and fruit character while preserving the bright acidity Kenya is celebrated for.
The result is a beautifully expressive cup with notes of blackcurrant, rum & raisin. Expect juicy dark fruit, rich sweetness and a wine-like complexity that continues to evolve as the coffee cools.
Roasted exclusively for filter, we've developed this profile to highlight clarity, sweetness and the unique character of this remarkable coffee.
